Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work onsite and remotely to identify and resolve urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
  • Install, setup and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust system design and proactive server monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug software application issues including workstation software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business application support (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-up and using remote access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Has a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
