Main Activities
Assist a range of small businesses to support computer environments based on Windows Vista, Windows XP, MS Windows 2K or 2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and Microsoft's .NET technology. Cooperate closely with customer's IT group or provide full-service IS outsourcing. Key fields of mastery include Exchange and Outlook, Active Directory, Protection, network monitoring, and system architecture.

Duties
Support and repair MS Windows 2003 Server-based IT networks. Work on-site and remotely to diagnose and fix both emergency and lingering problems related to uptime, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality.
Deploy, setup and validate Windows-based application hosts and .NET servers. Configure and deploy Windows 2K, Microsoft Windows XP, and MS Windows Vista desktop computers. Setup and analyze a variety of network utilities and application programs.
Plan IT infrastructures and protections policies that support customer's company goals.
Service and administer MS Outlook client with backoffice Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office applications, phone communications, and high-speed Internet connection.
Design and deploy migrations to Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server.
Optimize system availability and throughput via non-stop topology, smart network infrastructure, and proactive network monitoring.
Create accurate records of the network as it expands.
Specify and procure new server and networking hardware and/or software to support expansion and additional functions.

Education
Required Professional Experience
MCSE, strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability and interpersonal skills, and the knowledge to implement temporary patches to technical issues.
Understand how to to troubleshoot software problems such as PC application configuration issues, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity issues.
Open to exchange knowledge with clients and colleagues and to escalate problems to additional engineers when necessary.
Ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office infrastructure, delivering consistent follow-up and using online access and mobile communications. Experience with automated network monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting methodologies.
Physical Requirements
Availability to respond to off-hour network emergencies when on extended call.
Ability to pick up, carry, and rearrange all components of user desktops, network hardware, printers and accessories.
