Essential Activities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Operate on premises and online to analyze and fix both urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot applications on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
  • Design and validate protection policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV as well as remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient system design and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues such as workstation software compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
  • Background in business software assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and wireless communication tools
  • Works independently and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Has a reasonable knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
