Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Operate on premises and online to analyze and fix urgent and ongoing problems associated with availability, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
  • Install, configure and debug apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Design and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust system architecture and 24x7 health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems including workstation program compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems
  • Experience in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-through and taking advantage online access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Possess a working understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
