Primary Activities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and ongoing issues associated with availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall functionality
  • Install, setup and troubleshoot apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Develop and validate security policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application problems including workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity problems
  • Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage online access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works independently and shows high level of ownership and drive
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
