Essential Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Work onsite and online to identify and fix both urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, performance, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Install, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
  • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and validate security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient system design and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug software application problems such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and utilizing remote access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
