Essential Activities

  • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Operate onsite and remotely to identify and fix both urgent and ongoing issues related to reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
  • Deploy, configure and debug apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
  • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange
  • Develop and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in desktop, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem identification and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
  • Experience in business software support (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-up and utilizing online access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Operates independently and demonstrates high level of responsibility and drive
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
