Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Work on premises and online to analyze and fix urgent and lingering issues related to availability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Install, configure and debug applications on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
  • Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug software application problems including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage online access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works without supervision and shows high level of responsibility and initiative
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
