Essential Activities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Work onsite and online to identify and fix urgent and lingering issues associated with reliability, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
  • Install, configure and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and validate security policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network architecture and proactive server monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application issues including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
  • Experience in business productivity application support (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, providing consistent follow-up and utilizing remote access and mobile connectivity tools
  • Works without supervision and shows high level of ownership and drive
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
