Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Work on premises and online to identify and resolve urgent and lingering issues associated with reliability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general productivity
  • Install, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and proactive health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application issues including workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems
  • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-through and using remote access and mobile connectivity tools
  • Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Possess a reasonable understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
