Primary Activities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall functionality
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Develop and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems including workstation software compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and access problems
  • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage online access and mobile communication technology
  • Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Has a working knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
