Main Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Operate on premises and online to identify and fix both urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general productivity
  • Install, configure and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design IT architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and validate security policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust system architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ background in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems including workstation program compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
  • Experience in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and wireless communication technology
  • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working understanding of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
