Progent is looking for a a detail-oriented individual to help manage resumes sent to Progent by job applicants. The Resume Screener will work from a home office and take resumes submitted via email and import the applications into a specialized resume management program. The Resume Screener will consolidate all documents submitted by job applicants, verify that all required data is properly transferred into Progent's database, make sure that professional certifications are current, and pre-qualify job applicants by giving each one a preliminary ranking.

Primary Activities

The Resume Screener is a work-from-home position that requires about 20 hours every week. The Job Application Screener's basic task is to perform an initial filter on every resume submitted to Progent, which includes submissions for engineering, operational, sales, and marketing jobs. The Resume Screener checks that all job submissions and related files are correctly entered into Progent's specialized application tracking system, that all necessary data has been submitted, and that any declared industry accreditations, credentials} are current. The Resume Screener will give an initial ranking to every job applicant in order to streamline the recruitment procedures for Progent's human resources team.

Human Resources personnel responsible for maintaining Progent's resume database


Job Duties

Responsibilities include:
  • Consolidate all job application information emailed to Progent. Every job seeker may submit multiple messages and attached files, and the submitted files can have any format.
  • Check that all necessary data has been included by each job applicant.
  • Transfer all job application data into Progent's specialized hiring system and verify that all data is successfully imported and properly assigned.
  • Verify that any claimed industry accreditations are registered and have not expired.
  • Score applications by established criteria in categories such as work history, professional presentation of introduction and resume, certifications earned, and general job skills.
  • Interact with Progent's human resources team to enhance the effectiveness of Progent's hiring database.

Work Background/

Minimum Job Experience
Five years of background in human resources and two years of experience working with resumes
