Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Work on premises and online to identify and fix urgent and lingering problems related to availability, security, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Deploy, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
  • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
  • Design and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and proactive health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application issues such as workstation program compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage online access and wireless communication technology
  • Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and drive
  • Possess a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
