Main Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and overall productivity
  • Deploy, setup and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
  • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient system architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and access problems
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-through and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology
  • Works without supervision and shows high level of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
