Primary Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work onsite and remotely to identify and fix urgent and lingering problems associated with availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network architecture and proactive server monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug software application issues including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
  • Experience in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and utilizing remote access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Works independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
