Primary Activities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Operate onsite and online to analyze and fix urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Deploy, configure and troubleshoot apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Design and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
  • Develop and test security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust system design and 24x7 health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug software application issues such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage remote access and wireless connectivity tools
  • Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and drive
  • Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
