Main Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work on premises and remotely to analyze and fix both urgent and ongoing issues associated with availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Deploy, configure and debug applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange
  • Design and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust network architecture and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application issues such as desktop PC software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
  • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and mobile connectivity technology
  • Works without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
