Main Activities

  • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Work on premises and remotely to identify and fix urgent and lingering problems related to availability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Install, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
  • Design and validate protection policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and 24x7 server monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí experience in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug software application problems including desktop PC program compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-through and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication tools
  • Operates without supervision and shows high level of responsibility and initiative
  • Has a working knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
