Main Activities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Work onsite and online to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering problems associated with availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Deploy, setup and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Design and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
  • Develop and test security policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust system design and 24x7 health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
  • Experience in business application support (Microsoft products)
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology
  • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Has a reasonable understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
