Provide small business clients comprehensive security consulting services including network security evaluation, penetration testing, security planning, remote 24x7 monitoring, security architecture and modeling, access control management, business processes security, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.

small business clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California and in select locations thr0oughout the U.S.

Responsibilities |
 |

Work with clients' internal IT staffs to perform an audit and evaluation of the
existing security protection, configuration, tools, and processes.
Advise clients about how to design security into their business processes.
Help clients develop a written security plan to establish clear security policies, install scanning and auditing software, define and implement a secure network architecture that implements products from diverse vendors.
Provide Microsoft ISA Server consulting, and recommend procedures to optimize the security of clients' networks
Help clients configure a firewalls, set up secure remote access to email and data, and implement virtual private networks.
Utilize Microsoft's Baseline Security Analyzer tool or GFI LANguard to perform a variety of automatic system scans to identify potential security problems.
Perform anonymous physical security penetration testing and create a complete report of methods used and vulnerabilities uncovered during stealth penetration testing, along with a detailed list of recommended remediation steps.
Provide a range of security of consulting services covering security management practices, security architecture and models, access control systems and methodology, applications development security, operations Security, physical security, cryptography, telecommunications security, and business continuity planning.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
CISSP, CISA, CISM, or one of the other leading security certifications, strong troubleshooting and communications skills.
Willingness to exchange information with clients and colleagues and to escalate problems to appropriate specialists when necessary.
Ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-through and utilizing remote access and wireless connectivity technology. Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting techniques.
Physical Requirements
Ability to respond to off-hour technical emergencies when on extended call.
Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of user workstations, the network, and peripherals.
