Main Activities

  • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
  • Deploy, configure and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Design and validate security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient system architecture and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application issues including desktop PC program compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
  • Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-up and utilizing online access and wireless connectivity technology
  • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
