Main Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and ongoing issues related to reliability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Install, setup and troubleshoot applications on Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and test security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ background in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems such as workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity issues
  • Background in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and using remote access and mobile communication technology
  • Works independently and shows high level of ownership and initiative
  • Has a working understanding of networking layers L1-L7 and strong debugging capabilities in L1-L4

Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
