Main Activities

  • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Work onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
  • Develop and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust system architecture and proactive health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application problems such as workstation software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
  • Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft products)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and using online access and wireless communication technology
  • Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
