Main Activities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Operate on premises and online to identify and resolve both urgent and ongoing problems related to reliability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange
  • Develop and validate security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient network architecture and 24x7 health monitoring


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ background in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application problems including workstation software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
  • Background in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and utilizing remote access and mobile connectivity tools
  • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging skills in L1-L4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
