Main Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work on premises and remotely to identify and resolve urgent and ongoing issues related to reliability, security, performance, accessibility, and overall functionality
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Design and test security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and proactive server monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ yearsí background in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
  • Experience in business productivity application support (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage online access and mobile connectivity tools
  • Operates without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Possess a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
