You will have the benefit of Progent's extensive database, processes based on best practices, abundance of template-deliverable publications, and the aggregate expertise from one of Northern California's largest independent groups of expert consulting engineers.
We will share partner-only benefits from leading vendors including Microsoft and Cisco, including no-cost ordiscounted educational seminars, on-line access to restricted vendor support tools and product support resources, and on-line in-house use programs for education or demonstration purposes.
You will have the security of backup coverage from Progent's staff consultants and other Expert Team members in the event you are unavailable to respond to client demands due to work schedule conflicts, vacation, sickness, or training.
As a 1099 subcontractor to Progent, you get simplified, risk-free invoicing and consistent payment schedules. In addition, Progent is responsible for receivables collection
There is no fee to be a member of our Experts Team, but we do have the following requirements for membership:
You need to show a proven background as a consulting professional working independently in your field of specialization, including at least a two year history of completed contracting jobs or you must have an active client base to which you now deliver ongoing support activity.
You have to demonstrate that you have expertise in your area of concentration, which includes showing a long task-relevant record and excellent references, and have up-to-date manufacturer and/or industry professional certifications.
You need to know how to carry yourself in a professional way and be self driven and assured in your abilities. You should have excellent inter-personal skills and understand how to work efficiently by yourself or as a member of a team.
You need to be able to communicate realistic goals to clients and fellow Progent team members and you must be able analyze tasks, create task plans, and estimate realistic time lines.
