We will pass on partner-only benefits from leading vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco, including no-cost ordiscounted educational seminars, web access to special vendor troubleshooting tools and technical maintenance resources, and downloadable in-house use programs for education or sales purposes.
You will have the security of backup coverage from Progent's staff consultants and other Expert Team members in the event you are unavailable to respond to client demands due to work schedule conflicts, vacation, sickness, or training.
As a 1099 subcontractor to Progent, you get simplified, risk-free invoicing and consistent payment schedules. In addition, Progent is responsible for receivables collection
There is no cost to be part of Progent's Experts Group, but we do have the following requirements for membership:
You must show a strong track record as a consulting professional operating on your own in your field of expertise, including a minimum two year record of successful consulting projects or you must have an active customer base to whom you now deliver continuing consulting activity.
You need to show that you are an expert in your field of specialization, which includes showing an extensive work-related record and excellent referrals, and possess up-to-date manufacturer or industry professional certifications.
You should know how to carry yourself in a professional way and be self driven and assured in your skills. You must have excellent inter-personal skills and understand how to operate successfully by yourself or as a member of a group.
You must know how to communicate proper goals to customers and other Progent consultants and you should be able evaluate tasks, produce project plans, and estimate reasonable work schedules.
