    What is Progent's compensation model?
    Compensation at Progent is based on revenue sharing. Similar to an independent consultant, your earnings are tied to your performance. Some Progent consultants choose to work at a more relaxed pace, using a self-determined schedule to allow time for personal pursuits. Other consultants focus on maximizing income and working long hours. Progent's philosophy is to let the consultant decide on an appropriate workload and Progent's marketing, sales, virtual infrastructure, and operational procedures will ensure that you are well compensated for the time you spend helping clients. Progent's top consultants are making $165K/year.

    What benefit packages are available to Progent's full-time employees?

    What geographic areas are supported by Progent?
    Progent's consultants who offer on-site service are concentrated in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, while others are situated in select cities throughout the United States. Progent specializes in remote network troubleshooting and management services, so opportunities are available for certified support professionals anywhere in the U.S. For situations that require on-site service, Progent's remote support consultants often team up with on-site engineers to provide clients with the most cost-effective solutions available.     Do I need certification to work with Progent?
    In a word, YES. Progent is seeking consultants with industry-standard certifications for the fields in which they specialize. For example, Microsoft experts should have earned MCSE certificates, Cisco consultants should have CCIE credentials, and security specialists should have a CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent security credential.
