Cisco's Meraki MR20 is a value-priced Wave 2 Wi-Fi AP designed for small office or home office deployments. The cloud-managed access point has 2x2:2 MU-MIMO technology with two spatial streams and supports as much as 1.3 Gbps aggregate performance with 866 Mbps data rates in the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. The Meraki MR20 AP features Meraki's Air Marshal wireless intrusion prevention system for threat detection and resolution. The AP has one 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet RJ45 port but not a Bluetooth radio. The MR20 AP is desktop, ceiling, or wall mount capable.
The Cisco Meraki MR42 access point is a Wave 2 AP for performance-critical and/or high-density Wi-Fi LANs. The MR42 supports 3◊3:3 MU-MIMO with beamforming, delivers a maximum transmission rate of 1.9 Gbit/sec, includes a GbE port, and has an integrated Bluetooth BLE radio for scanning and Beaconing. The 4-radio MR52 uses 4◊4 MU-MIMO with four spatial streams and beamforming, delivers wireless data rates of up to 2.5 Gbps, works with 160 MHz channels, comes with two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and features a Bluetooth BLE radio. The Cisco Meraki MR53 Wi-Fi access point has the same specs as the Meraki MR52 but has a single Gigabit Ethernet port plus a 2.5 Gbps Multigigabit Ethernet port.
The Cisco Meraki MR30H AP is a wall switch unit intended for hotel rooms or dormitory environments and uses 2x2 MU-MIMO Wave 2 technology. The AP has an integrated 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, and an integrated BLE radio for beaconing and scanning functions. The MR30H provides combined performance of up to 1.3 Gbps with simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. The Meraki MR33 is a general-purpose access point that can be deployed in offices, schools, hospitals, retail stores and other busy environments. The Meraki MR33 has the same feature set as the MR30H AP but is packaged in a slim housing and lacks a built-in 4-port GbE switch.
Legacy Cisco Meraki Indoor Wireless Access Points
Cisco's Meraki MR18 AP, which is at end-of-life status, is a wall or desktop mountable 802.11n unit that can support aggregate data rates as fast as 600 Mbps with its two 2x2:2 MIMO radios. This no-frills Wi-Fi access point is intended for use in low to moderate density venues. Cisco's Meraki MR32 is a wall, ceiling or desktop Wi-Fi access point featuring a 5 GHz 2x2:2 802.11ac radio and a 2.4 GHz 2x2:2 802.11n radio, delivering a maximum dual-radio frame rate of 1.2 Gbit/s. This unit includes a Bluetooth radio for Beaconing and BLE scanning and is intended for high-density venues such as campuses, hotels, and enterprise offices.
The Meraki MR34 AP, which is at end-of-life status, is a 802.11ac Wave 1 unit that features 3x3 MIMO technology with 1.75 Gbps throughput. Designed to support high client densities, the MR34 offers 802.af PoE (low-power mode) as well as 802.3at PoE+. The Meraki MR34 does not include a Bluetooth radio.

Meraki outdoor APs are IP67 rated, built to withstand rugged outdoor environments, and able to resist dust, shock and moisture. An additional third radio is devoted to WIDS/WIPS security and RF optimization. The MR72 access point also includes a Bluetooth radio for Beaconing and scanning. The high-performance Meraki MR84 is a 4-radio outdoor AP engineered to handle challenging, high-density RF environments like a sports stadium or other outdoor venue. The MR84 features 4◊4:4 MU-MIMO, 160 MHz channels, a 1 GigE port and a Multigigabit interface, and a built-in Bluetooth radio.
