Meraki indoor access points also feature radios with enhanced receive sensitivity plus a proprietary wireless intrusion detection and prevention system (wIDS/wIPS) with a specialized radio for spectrum analysis and realtime packet inspection.

The Cisco Meraki MR20 is a value-priced Wave 2 wireless access point intended for small office or home office deployments. The cloud-managed access point features 2x2:2 MU-MIMO technology with two spatial streams and delivers as much as 1.3 Gbps combined performance with 866 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps data rates in the 2.4 GHz band. The Meraki MR20 AP includes Meraki's Air Marshal wireless intrusion prevention system for threat identification and resolution. The AP has a single 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet RJ45 port but not a BLE radio. The MR20 AP is desktop, ceiling, or wall mount capable.
The Cisco Meraki MR42 AP is a Wave 2 AP for performance-critical and/or high-density Wi-Fi LANs. The MR42 features 3x3:3 MU-MIMO with beamforming, provides a maximum transmission rate of 1.9 Gbit/sec, includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, and has an integrated Bluetooth radio that provides scanning and Beaconing. The 4-radio MR52 features 4x4 MU-MIMO with four spatial streams and beamforming, delivers over-the-air data rates of up to 2.5 Gbps, works with 160 MHz channels, comes with two GbE ports, and includes a BLE radio. The Cisco Meraki MR53 Wi-Fi AP offers the same specs as the Meraki MR52 but has one 1 GigE port plus a 2.5 Gbps Multigigabit Ethernet interface.
The Cisco Meraki MR30H access point is a wall switch unit designed for hospitality or dorm room environments and features 2x2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wave 2 technology. The access point includes an integrated 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, and an integrated Bluetooth radio for beaconing and scanning functions. The MR30H delivers combined throughput as high as 1.3 Gbps with concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. The Meraki MR33 is a versatile access point suitable for offices, schools, hospitals, shops and other active environments. The MR33 has the same feature set as the MR30H access point but is encased in a low-profile housing and lacks a built-in 4-port GbE switch.
The Meraki MR57 WiFi 6E AP includes support for the 6 GHz band, more than doubling the wireless spectrum supported by earlier generation WiFi APs. You can run the MR57 in dual 5 GHz mode or in tri-band 2.5/5/6 mode. The top data rate for the Meraki MR57 device is 7.8 Gbps. The MR57 features dual 1/2.5/5 Gbps Ethernet ports and is IoT capable thanks to BLE and USB support.
Legacy Meraki Indoor Wi-Fi APs
The Cisco Meraki MR18 access point, which is at end-of-life status, is a wall or desktop mountable 802.11n device that can support aggregate performance as fast as 600 Mbps with its concurrent 2x2:2 MIMO radios. This no-frills wireless access point is intended for general-purpose use in low to moderate density environments. The Meraki MR32 is a wall, ceiling or desktop mountable Wi-Fi access point with a 5 GHz 2x2:2 802.11ac radio and a 2.4 GHz 2x2:2 802.11n radio, delivering a top dual-radio frame rate of 1.2 Gbit/s. This access point comes with a Bluetooth radio for Beaconing and BLE scanning and is intended for high-density venues such as campuses, retail stores, and large offices.
The Meraki MR34 AP, which is at end-of-life status, is a 802.11ac Wave 1 unit that features 3x3 MIMO with 1.75 Gbps throughput. Intended to support high client densities, the MR34 offers 802.af PoE as well as 802.3at PoE+. The Meraki MR34 does not include Bluetooth.
Cisco Meraki Cloud-managed Outdoor/Industrial Wi-Fi Access Points
Cisco's Meraki outdoor APs are IP67 certified, designed to operate in rugged outdoor conditions, and able to withstand dust, shock and humidity. Cisco's mid-range Meraki MR66 wireless, AP has dual radios with band steering, delivers a maximum of 600 Mbit/sec combined performance, and features 2x2 MIMO technology, beamforming, and multi-radio mesh. Cisco's high-capacity Meraki MR72 is a three-radio Wi-Fi AP that supports data rates as high as 1.2 Gbps with concurrent 802.11ac and 802.11n 2x2:2 MIMO radios. An additional third radio is dedicated to WIDS/WIPS security and RF optimization. The MR72 access point also incorporates a Bluetooth radio for Beaconing and BLE scanning. The high-performance Meraki MR84 is a 4-radio outdoor AP designed to handle difficult, high-density RF environments such as a stadium or other outdoor venue. The MR84 includes 4×4:4 MU-MIMO, 160 MHz channels, a GbE port and a Multigigabit port, and a built-in Bluetooth radio.
