Essential Activities
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Operate onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering issues related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
Design and implement upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
Design and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
Efficient system design and proactive health monitoring

Schooling
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and resolution)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to debug software application issues including workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
Experience in business software support (Microsoft products)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-up and using remote access and wireless communication tools
Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
Possess a reasonable understanding of network layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
