Progent is looking for experienced Senior Microsoft information technology consultants in the to help a variety of small and midsize organizations to maintain IT environments powered by Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008, and Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2016. Important fields of knowledge include system infrastructure, AD design and troubleshooting, Exchange-based email, security, and server monitoring.

Main Activities
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
Work on premises and online to analyze and fix both urgent and lingering problems related to availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
Deploy, configure and troubleshoot apps hosted on Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
Design and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
Develop and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Robust network architecture and proactive health monitoring and alerting

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to troubleshoot application issues including desktop PC program compatibility issues, server issues, data service problems, and access issues
Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft products)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-through and utilizing online access and wireless communication tools
Works independently and shows high level of ownership and drive
Possess a reasonable understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
