Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Operate onsite and online to analyze and resolve urgent and lingering problems related to reliability, protection, performance, connectivity, and general productivity
Install, setup and troubleshoot apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
Design and carry out updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
Design and test security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
Robust system design and proactive server monitoring and alerting

Education
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to troubleshoot software application issues including workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
Experience in business software support (Microsoft product family)
Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage online access and mobile connectivity technology
Works independently and shows high level of ownership and initiative
Possess a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
