Essential Responsibilities
Activities
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Work onsite and online to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering problems related to availability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and overall functionality
Deploy, setup and troubleshoot applications on Windows Servers
Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
Develop and validate protection policies such as on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Robust network design and proactive health monitoring

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to troubleshoot software application problems such as desktop PC software compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
Background in business software assistance (Microsoft products)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication technology
Works independently and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
Has a working knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
