Essential Activities
Activities
Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
Operate on premises and remotely to analyze and resolve urgent and lingering problems related to availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
Deploy, setup and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
Develop and test security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and repair)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to troubleshoot software application problems such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
Background in business software support (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, providing consistent follow-through and utilizing remote access and mobile communication tools
Works without supervision and shows high level of ownership and drive
Has a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
