Essential Responsibilities
Activities
Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Operate onsite and online to identify and resolve urgent and ongoing issues related to reliability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and general functionality
Deploy, setup and debug apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
Develop and test security policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
Robust system design and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to debug application issues such as desktop PC software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless communication technology
Operates independently and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
Possess a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in L1-L4
