Home-based, virtual office environment
Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Work onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering issues related to availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
Deploy, configure and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
Design and test security policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring and alerting
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ yearsí experience in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem isolation and repair)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to troubleshoot software application problems such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft products)
Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-through and utilizing remote access and wireless communication technology
Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Possess a working knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
