Primary Responsibilities
Activities
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Operate on premises and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering problems related to reliability, security, capacity, connectivity, and overall functionality
Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
Develop and test security policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Robust system design and 24x7 server monitoring

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in desktop, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem identification and repair)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access problems
Experience in business software support (Microsoft products)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-up and utilizing online access and mobile communication tools
Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
