Home-based, virtual office infrastructure
Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
Work on premises and remotely to analyze and fix both urgent and ongoing problems associated with availability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general productivity
Install, configure and debug apps on Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
Design and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
Robust system design and proactive health monitoring
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ yearsí background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to troubleshoot software application issues such as desktop PC program compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity problems
Experience in business software support (Microsoft product family)
Proven ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and taking advantage online access and wireless connectivity tools
Operates without supervision and shows high level of responsibility and initiative
Has a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in L1-L4
Credentials Needed Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
