Responsibilities
Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Work onsite and online to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
Deploy, configure and debug applications on Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
Develop and test security policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Robust network architecture and 24x7 server monitoring

Education
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem identification and resolution)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to debug software application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and access problems
Experience in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, providing consistent follow-through and utilizing online access and mobile communication tools
Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
