Main Responsibilities
Activities
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
Operate onsite and online to identify and fix urgent and lingering problems related to availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
Deploy, configure and troubleshoot applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan information technology architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
Develop and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring

Education
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' experience in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem isolation and resolution)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to troubleshoot software application problems such as workstation program compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity issues
Experience in business application support (Microsoft products)
Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, providing consistent follow-up and utilizing remote access and mobile communication technology
Operates independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and drive
Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
