Senior Microsoft IT Consulting Expert
Work from home, virtual office infrastructure
Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Operate onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering problems related to reliability, protection, performance, connectivity, and general productivity
Install, setup and debug apps on Windows Servers
Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years’ background in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to debug software application problems such as workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity problems
Background in business software assistance (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless communication tools
Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
Possess a working knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
