Progent is seeking Desktop Support Consultants to help Progent's customers with maintenance, break/fix and project work. This is a 1099 consulting role that will be performed at our client premises in the . Daytime availability is needed, Monday through Friday. Our consultant will maintain and support clients of all desktop and notebook computers based on the latest Microsoft technologies. In addition, work closely with customer's executives, management, IT staff or under the direction or guidance of Progent's senior consultant to support the client's end users.

Work on-site to find and remediate both emergency and persistent issues that reduce the reliability, security, performance, accessibility, and overall functionality of desktops, laptops, printers and other hardware
Install new end-user hardware and help with other deployments, upgrades, and exchanges of workstations, notebooks and associated hardware
Provide the prompt analysis and remediation of PCs and laptop computers and associated equipment
Stay up-to-date with an expert knowledge of workstation and notebook applications and use of WAN infrastructure including the Internet
