Important fields of expertise include system infrastructure, AD design and troubleshooting, Exchange-based email, security, and server monitoring.

Essential Responsibilities
Activities
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
- Operate on premises and remotely to identify and fix urgent and lingering problems related to reliability, protection, performance, accessibility, and overall productivity
- Install, setup and debug applications on Windows Servers
- Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
- Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
- Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
- Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
- Plan and carry out upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
- Design and validate security policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
- Robust network architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting
- 10+ years background in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem isolation and repair)
- 5+ years consulting background
- Ability to debug software application problems such as desktop PC software compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and connectivity issues
- Experience in business application support (Microsoft product family)
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and utilizing online access and mobile communication technology
- Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and drive
- Possess a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in L1-L4
