Key areas of knowledge include network architecture, AD design and troubleshooting, Exchange-based messaging, security, and server monitoring.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
- Operate onsite and online to identify and fix both urgent and lingering problems associated with availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and overall functionality
- Deploy, configure and debug apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
- Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
- Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
- Plan IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
- Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
- Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
- Design and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
- Robust system design and proactive health monitoring
- 10+ years experience in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and repair)
- 5+ years consulting experience
- Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access issues
- Background in business software assistance (Microsoft products)
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and using remote access and mobile connectivity technology
- Works without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
- Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
