Main Activities
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
- Operate onsite and online to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering issues related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and general productivity
- Deploy, setup and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
- Install and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
- Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
- Design information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
- Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
- Design and carry out upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
- Design and test protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
- Efficient system design and proactive server monitoring
- 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
- 5+ years consulting background
- Ability to debug software application problems including workstation program compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
- Background in business application assistance (Microsoft products)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile connectivity tools
- Operates without supervision and shows high level of ownership and initiative
- Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
