This is a 1099 consulting role that will be performed at Progent's client locations in the . Daytime availability is needed, Monday through Friday. Our consultant will maintain and support users of all desktop and notebook computers based on current Microsoft technologies. Support, diagnose and troubleshoot issues with all versions of Windows-powered workstation and laptop systems and others as needed.
Work directly with computer users in assisting to identify and resolve app and operating system issues that impact user productivity
Install, integrate and verify a variety of software programs on user workstations
Work on-premises to find and resolve both emergency and persistent problems that reduce the stability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall capability of workstations, notebooks, imaging devices and other end user equipment
Deploy new end-user equipment and help with other installations, updates, and swaps of PCs, notebooks and related equipment
Provide the prompt analysis and repair of workstations and laptop computers and related hardware
Remain current with an expert knowledge of PC and laptop computing applications and utilization of connectivity infrastructure including the Internet
