Activities
Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
Operate onsite and remotely to identify and resolve urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, protection, performance, accessibility, and overall functionality
Install, setup and troubleshoot apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
Design and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
Design and validate security policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
Robust network design and proactive health monitoring and alerting

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem isolation and repair)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to troubleshoot software application problems including workstation software compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and access issues
Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft products)
Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication technology
Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Has a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
