Progent is looking for Desktop Support Experts to help our customers with maintenance, break/fix and project work. This is a 1099 consulting position that will be performed at Progent's client locations in the . Daytime availability is needed, Monday through Friday. Our consultant will maintain and support clients of all desktop and laptop computers powered by current Microsoft technologies. Also, work extensively with client's executives, management, IT group or under the direction or guidance of Progent's senior consultant to support the customer's end users.

Responsibilities
Support, analyze and resolve issues with all releases of Windows-based PC and laptop systems and others as necessary.
Work directly with computer end users in assisting to find and fix application and OS problems that impact productivity
Install, integrate and test a variety of software programs on user workstations
Operate on-site to diagnose and fix both urgent and persistent problems that impact the stability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality of desktops, laptops, printers and other end user equipment
Deploy new end-user hardware and perform other deployments, updates, and exchanges of desktops, laptop computers and associated equipment
Assure the prompt analysis and repair of PCs and notebooks and related hardware
Stay updated with advanced knowledge of desktop and notebook applications and utilization of WAN technologies including the Internet
Experience
Minimum Professional Experience Requirements
Three years experience in desktop PC administration new program configuration, computer and peripheral integration, troubleshooting and resolution)
Strong computer troubleshooting and fault isolation skill, knowledge to implement temporary patches to resolve network issues and escalate support when necessary
In-depth experience delivering software assistance to small companies for all Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Office 365 apps including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Excellent speaking and written communication ability
Demonstrated dedication to facilitating continuous productivity
