Experts Group consultants are often independent engineers and sometimes "moonlighters" who have been carefully certified by us to work closely with Progent's staff consultants to provide comprehensive, enterprise-class network services to small and midsize businesses. We are always expanding the Experts Group in order to meet the particular needs of our clients.

• As a 1099 subcontractor to Progent, you get simplified, risk-free invoicing and consistent payment schedules. In addition, Progent is responsible for receivables collection

There is not any charge to be a member of our Experts Group, but Progent has strict qualifications for membership:

• You must have a proven track record as a consultant working on your own in your field of expertise, including a minimum two year record of completed contracting jobs and/or have your own active customer base for whom you now deliver continuing support activity.
• You have to demonstrate that you have expertise in your area of specialization, including showing a long task-relevant history and excellent referrals, and possess current manufacturer or industry professional qualifications.
• You have to know how to present yourself in a professional way and be self motivated and confident in your abilities. You must have excellent inter-personal skills and understand how to work effectively alone or as a member of a team.
• You have to know how to articulate proper expectations to customers and other Progent consultants and you must be able evaluate jobs, produce project plans, and estimate realistic work schedules.
