Progent wants to hire fulltime, solutions-oriented Microsoft accredited consultants with Microsoft MCSE credentials; Cisco accredited network engineers who have Cisco CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA certification; security consultants who have CISA or comparable security certification; and high-end system architecture consultants with experience in mobile access, wireless connectivity, fault tolerance, business continuity, information protection, and server virtualization. Progent also is looking for professionals to join Progent's staff of helpdesk service technicians and remote support professionals. In addition, Progent is looking for talented administrators able to perform effectively in Progent's fast-paced, virtual office environment.
By supporting a staff of talented and motivated professionals, delivering attentive customer care, and offering a strong value-focused fee model, We have been able to expand our customer list rapidly while delivering professional support to numerous companies in the San Francisco area and across the U.S. A sophisticated virtual office environment, a shared information database, and a team approach to problem solving have allowed Progent to maintain a talented consulting team and a loyal customer base.
For a network professional with technical support expertise, teaming with Progent or helping Progent's customers will enhance your knowledge via interaction with Progent's group of mutually supportive, expert engineers. Our commitment to delivering network expertise and computer support to small organizations will give you the chance to work intimately with decision makers and contribute significantly to the success of dynamic companies.
Progent Is Looking for Certified Professionals
We are looking for consultants that have verifiable certification related to their technical expertise. For example, if you are a Microsoft expert, you should have earned your MCSE credential. In the case of Cisco consultants, have your Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert or Cisco Certified Network Professional certificate. For security, you should have earned you Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISA, Certified Information Security Manager, or one of the other top security certifications. Of course, we are familiar with “paper MCSEs.” However, the fact that a certificate does not guarantee expertise is no reason for not having one. If you have mastered your stuff, then the majority of those certifications should present no great difficulty. The bottom line is that if you call yourself a professional, then customers expect credentials. We can market your skills, but you should provide a baseline of credentials for Progent to work with. In case you stand strongly against the idea of credentials, we can understand and honor your position, but you are probably not an appropriate candidate.
