We Are Hiring Certified Experts
Progent is looking for technical professionals that can show recognized credentials in their special expertise. So, if you are a Microsoft consultant, you must have earned your Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer credential. In the case of Cisco consultants, have your CCIE or Cisco Certified Network Professional certificate. For security, you should have earned you Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, CISM, or one of the other top security credentials. Naturally, Progent is aware of "paper experts". However, the fact that a certificate does not guarantee expertise is no reason for not earning one. If you have mastered your field, then most of these tests should pose no great difficulty. The point is that if you call yourself an expert, then clients expect credentials. Progent can market your skills, but you should provide basic certifications for us to market. In case you stand strongly opposed to the idea of certifications, we can sympathize with and honor your position, but you are probably not a good fit.
