- NVGRE Gateway Network Virtualization
SCVMM 2012 supports the NVGRE (Network Virtualization using Generic Routing Encapsulation) capability of Windows Server 2012 R2, allowing you to combine your local infrastructure with a service provider's cloud via site-to-site gateways for Hyper-V network virtualization.
