Senior Microsoft IT Consulting Expert
Work from home, virtual office environment
Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Work onsite and online to analyze and fix both urgent and ongoing problems associated with availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall productivity
Install, configure and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
Efficient system architecture and proactive server monitoring and alerting
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ yearsí experience in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
5+ years consulting background
Ability to debug application problems including workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and connectivity problems
Experience in business software support (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-up and utilizing online access and wireless communication tools
Works independently and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
Has a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
