Essential Responsibilities

  • Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Operate on premises and online to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering issues associated with reliability, security, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
  • Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
  • Design and carry out upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Design and validate protection policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting


Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years’ background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to debug application issues such as workstation program compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business application assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless communication tools
  • Works independently and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Has a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging skills in L1-L4
