Senior Microsoft Information Technology Consulting Expert
Work from home, virtual office environment
Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve urgent and lingering issues related to reliability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall productivity
Deploy, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
Maintain and administer MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange
Design and test security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
Efficient network design and 24x7 server monitoring
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ yearsí background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and repair)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to debug software application issues including workstation software compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems
Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft products)
Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and utilizing remote access and mobile connectivity technology
Operates independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and drive
Has a working knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
